- Spring/Summer 2026 Network Upgrades As Avetria continues to grow, so does our need for reliable and stable backup power. During Summer/Fall 2026, we are upgrading all of our communication cabinets with state-of-the-art lithium iron phosphate batteries, also known as LiFePO. These upgrades will allow Avetria’s network equipment to operate on battery backup for approximately 20 to 24 hours during power outages, helping us maintain dependable service for our customers. We are also implementing higher internet speeds in Bloomingdale, Winterbourne, Country Squire, and West Montrose, with new speed packages available up to 8 Gig for homes and businesses.
- Spring 2025 As Avetria continues to grow, so do the speeds we offer. Customers can look forward to new higher-speed internet packages, with service options available up to 10 Gig for homes and businesses.
- Fall 2024 Avetria has completed its 10 Gig fibre trunk connection to all major service communities, including Bloomingdale, Conestogo, Winterbourne, West Montrose, Ariss, Highway 6 and County Road 51, and to the edge of Guelph along Line 86.
- Summer 2024 Avetria continued expanding its fibre network along Line 86 in both directions, toward Elmira and Ariss, completing a new 10 Gig fibre link to support future growth and higher-speed service.
- Summer 2023 Our Country Squire fibre-to-the-home project has been upgraded. Avetria is now offering 1 Gig service in Country Squire.
